Twelve-year old Zachariah Shaw, along with his parents, live out their days as one of many devout Puritan families striving to create a life in the new world. Unbeknownst, to Zach or anyone else in the region, an unknown evil had already set their eyes on the sleepy religious community. From beyond the perception of mortals, this shrouded being tempts and twists the burgeoning colony—slowly pushing them towards malevolence. As a mere youth, Zach feels powerless as he and his few allies recognize that something is starting to rot at the heart of Salem. Before he knows it, former neighbors and friends turn on each other as hysteria grips Salem. Zachariah must make a stand and decide whether to face impossible odds and oppose these heinous acts or cower and become complicit in one of the most mysterious and harrowing atrocities in history … the Salem Witch Trials.
