The Transcendents are a band of virtuous youths gathered from ages past, ushered by the angels into Eden, where they grew and waited until the time was right. As they assemble in the modern world, they receive heavenly gifts, abilities, instruction, and training. These angelic boons enable them to prepare to do battle against the very heart of evil—Lucifer himself and his six fallen brothers, each one the very embodiment of the seven deadly sins.
BATTLING THE HEART OF EVIL
Facing the forces of evil is no easy task—especially for a group of teens plucked out of their own times, all facing personal challenges of their own. But they were summoned for a reason. Everyone qualified to receive special gifts, training, and support from a dedicated team. The Transcendents are supported by a remarkable network of angels and mortals who are committed to the cause. Angels oversee training, while specially selected and gifted mortals, known as Antiquitors and Keepers, help to watch over the Transcendents, all the while providing them with the resources needed to be victorious in their quest.

Leviathan
Leviathan
Leviathan
As the Prince of Envy, Leviathan is a master coveter, but also revels in enticing humans to resent each other for possessions and popularity.
Leviathan wants everything that the other princes have: their possessions, status, abilities, and power. Never wanting to put in the labor, Leviathan relishes the idea of acquiring in mass what others have spent much effort on – wanting only the benefit of the end product and not the growth from the work. But what brings Leviathan the most joy is when humans are not only envious of another but covet their belongings and status to a degree that they plot and scheme on how to take them from their rivals— violently, if necessary.

Belphegor
Belphegor
Belphegor is the Prince of Sloth and as one of the sliest of the Seven Princes, he understands the value of playing the long game.
As he is never in a rush, Belphegor quietly observes the mistakes others make when reacting quickly and rashly. While his lack of urgency tends to infuriate Lucifer and his brothers, Belphegor uses their irritation to get others to do his work. Despite their criticism of him, his philosophy of sloth, dressed up in the guise of leisure, instant gratification, and the dream of the “easy life,” has taken a firm and solid root, the entire world over, for centuries on end.

Asmodeus
Asmodeus
Asmodeus is the Prince of Lust and is always present when carnal temptations of the flesh are most prevalent.
Asmodeus frequently congratulates himself on his ageless effort to disassociate the sin of the lust from anything other than intense intimate desires. While it remains one of the most potent weapons in his arsenal, and one that countless individuals freely give themselves over to, people who might be able to withstand those temptations can frequently be ensnared in the remaining totality of the realm of lust. Appetites, constant pursuit of pleasures, wanton desires, and uncontrolled obsessions, are just a sample of his lures. Whenever one commits to a relentless pursuit of pleasurable things, regardless of what they are, they will find themselves wrapped in the powerful chains of Asmodeus.

Beelzebub revels in his station as the Prince of Gluttony, enticing the world to hoard and consume, especially at the costs of another’s basic needs.
While the iconic image of gluttony is fixated on an overconsumption of food, Beelzebub, and those in his power, understand that the temptation far exceeds the desire to eat. The desire to keep and control everything from food and water to oil and money, draws many to the influence of Beelzebub. As a fallen angel, he understands how quickly one feels the influence of good when one imparts of their possessions with another, and the dark pull of evil when one hoards and consumes far more than what they need.

As the Prince of Wrath, Aamon is the tireless instigator of fanning the flames of anger that manifests itself countless acts of violence, from bullying and brawls to assassinations and world wars.
Always the first and the fastest to resort to anger, Aamon is constantly courting aggression and violence. Amongst his fallen brothers, his fury is a continuous source of frustration, however, it’s also one of the few things that keep him in check. The flames of wrath are quickly kindled and fanned, but leave little time for planning or forethought, which frequently leads to disaster. This trait of wrath is even more prevalent in the human realm where Aamon’s silent screams of rage yields destruction and despair the entire world over.
